Trolley Solution
Made for Game Jam WS 26/27 @ FH Salzburg within 48 hours
Theme: Small Sacrifices.
Trolley Solution is a Western moral-survival game inspired by the trolley problem. You are the kindest engineer in the desert, but your train’s brakes have broken. Unable to stop, you must choose between tracks that harm innocent people, or occasionally give you a chance to regain your humanity. The junctions come faster and faster, forcing you to decide what you are willing to sacrifice to keep your passengers alive. How long can you keep going without losing yourself?
How to play
- Your brakes are broken. Keep the train moving for as long as you can, because otherwise your passangers will die.
- Move the mouse left, right, or center to choose between the tracks.
- Some tracks contain people. Running them over costs morality.
- Other tracks contain bombs. Hitting one destroys all tracks and everyone on them.
- You start with 100 morality points. When they reach zero, you lose yourself.
- The longer you survive, the less time you have to decide.
- Your goal is to survive as long as possible and achieve the highest score.
